231. The BSPS Cradle Stakes. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Not exceeding 122cms. Rider not to have attained their 11th birthday before 1st January in current year.


232. The BSPS Open Nursery Stakes. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding133cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in current year.

Special 9. Mini Working Hunter Pony Championship. First & Second prize winners in classes 231 & 232 to compete.

Special 10. THE PANTY COED ROBIN PERPETUAL SALVER will be awarded to the Champion, to be held by the winner for one year.

The Champion will qualify for the BSPS THE WHITE COMPANY Champion of Champions at the 2011 Summer Championship Show.

The 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in class 232 will qualify for the 2011 Ponies (UK) Lord Frederick Nursery Stakes at the Summer National Championships. No qualification card will be awarded in the ring results will be confirmed by the show secretary.

236. R.I.H.S Qualifying Class for the BSPS Open Intermediate Working Hunter. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over exceeding 143cms but not exceeding 153cms. Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday before the 1st January in the current year.

Royal International Horse Show. Classes 233, 234, 235 & 236 are qualifiers for the R.I.H.S. The highest placed pony, not already qualified, from the first five ponies placed in each class will qualify. Owner & Riders must be BSPS Members & the Pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with R.I.H.S Qualification.

Special 11. BSPS Open Working Hunter Pony Championship

First & Second prize winners from classes 233, 234, 235 & 236 to compete. 

Special 12. THE PARTRIDGE CUP will be awarded to the Champion, to be held by the winner for one year.
The Champion will qualify for the BSPS DAVID MANNING Champion of Champions at the 2011 Summer Championship Show.

The two highest placed exhibits in classes 241, 242 & 243 not already qualified will qualify for the Equifest Mountain & Moorland WHP Final to be held at the East of England Showground on 18th – 21st Aug 2011.

No. 248. R.I.H.S Qualifying Class for the BSPS Open Pony of Show Hunter Type. Mare or gelding, 4 years old or over not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Royal International Horse Show. These classes 245, 246, 247 & 248 are qualifiers for the R.I.H.S. The highest placed pony, not already qualified, from the first five ponies will qualify. Owner & Riders must be BSPS Members & the Pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with R.I.H.S Qualification.

Special 16. BSPS Show Hunter Pony Championship. First and Second prize winners from classes 245, 246, 247 & 248 to compete.

The Champion will qualify for the BSPS DAVID MANNING Champion of Champions at the 2011 Summer Championship Show.

Special 17. THE MRS STEPHEN EVE CUP will be awarded to the Champion, to be held by the winner for one year.

CLASS
No. 249. R.I.H.S Qualifying Class for the BSPS Leading Rein Pony of Hunter Type. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant. Ponies to be shown in snaffle bridles. A sash will be awarded to the winner by the Rutland Agricultural Society.

Royal International Horse Show. This class 249 is a qualifier for the R.I.H.S. The highest placed pony, not already qualified, from the first five ponies will qualify. Owner & Riders must be BSPS Members & the Pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with R.I.H.S Qualification.

BSPS RIDDEN SHOW PONIES

Royal International Horse Show. These classes 250 & 251 are qualifiers for the R.I.H.S. The highest placed pony, not already qualified, from the first five ponies will qualify. Owner & Riders must be BSPS Members & the Pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with R.I.H.S Qualification.

Special 18. BSPS Mini Show Pony Championship First and Second prize winners from classes 250 & 251 to compete.

Special 19. THE LADY FINDLAY CUP will be awarded to the Champion, to be held by the winner for one year.
The Champion will qualify for the BSPS “DAUNT” Champion of Champions at the 2011 Summer Championship Show.


252.        R.I.H.S Qualifying Class for the BSPS Show Pony. Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 13th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

253.        R.I.H.S Qualifying Class for the BSPS Show Pony. Mare or Gelding 4  years old and over, exceeding 128cms and not exceeding 138cms.. Riders not to have attained their 15th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

254.        R.I.H.S Qualifying Class for the BSPS Show Pony. Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 138cms and not exceeding 148cms.. Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Royal International Horse Show. These classes 252, 253 & 254 are qualifiers for the R.I.H.S. The highest placed pony, not already qualified, from the first five ponies will qualify. Owner & Riders must be BSPS Members & the Pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with R.I.H.S Qualification.

Special 20. BSPS Show Pony Championship. First and Second prize winners from classes 252, 253 & 254 to compete.

Special 21. THE RUTLAND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY CHALLENGE CUP will be awarded to the Champion, to be held by the winner for one year.

The Champion will qualify for the BSPS DAVID MANNING Champion of Champions at the 2011 Summer Championship Show.

Special 28. BSPS INTERMEDIATE Championship. First and Second prize winners from classes 244 & 255 to compete (To be Judged after class 255). The Champion will qualify for the BSPS DAVID MANNING Champion of Champions at the 2011 Summer Championship Show.

The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in class 254 will qualify for the 2011 Ponies (UK) The Lloyd Show Classic Intermediate SRT Summer National Championship. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, results will be confirmed by results.

The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the Equifest Intermediate Show Riding Type Final to be held at the East of England Showground on 18th – 21st Aug 2011.

British Show Horse Association Rising Stars. Any exhibitor in the first 3 in class 255 Show Riding Type may enter the Rising Stars class at the National Championship Show, September 9th & 10th 2011 at Addington. No qualifying card required.

The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the Equimax/Equifest First Ridden Mountain & Moorland Final to be held at the East of England Showground on 18th – 21st Aug 2011.

First and second prize winners in classes 262 & 263 to compete.

Special 27. Ponies UK Ridden Mountain & Moorland Ridden Championship.
First and second prize winners in classes 264, 265, 266, 267& 268 to compete.

Any pony stallion not exceeding 138cms OR Small Breed Mountain & Moorland Stallions – ie. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh A & Welsh B - may NOT be ridden by Juniors who have not attained their 12th Birthday before the 1st January at any show affiliated to the Ponies Association (UK). Stallions exceeding 138cms or Large Breed Mountain & Moorland stallions – ie. Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest, Welsh C & Welsh D- may not be ridden by any Juniors who have NOT attained their 14th Birthday before 1st January at any show affiliated to Ponies Association (UK).

BRITISH SHOW PONY SOCIETY Affiliation Number B.S.P.S.49/11 This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S), and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the Constitution and Rules of the B.S.P.S., including the disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S.

“THE ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW”This Show is a qualifier for R.I.H.S. Only one pony in each class will qualify:- Open 133cms, 143cms and 153cms Working Hunter Pony Open Intermediate WH. Lead Rein Pony of Hunter Type , Open 122cms, 133cms, 143cms and 153cms Show Hunter Pony, Lead Rein and First Ridden Show Pony, Open 128cms, 138cms and 148cms Show Pony, Heritage Lead Rein and First Ridden and the four Open Heritage Ridden Classes. The highest placed Pony (not already qualified), from the first three ponies placed in each class will qualify.

THIS SHOW IS A QUALIFIER FOR 2011 B.S.P.S. SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWto be held at the Arena UK. The 1st and 2nd prizewinner in the following classes:- Open Lead Rein Show Pony, Open First Ridden Show Pony, Open 128cms, 138cms, 148cms Show Pony, Open Nursery Stakes, Open 133cms, 143cms, 153cms WHP, Novice 133cm, 143cm 153 WHP Open Lead Rein SHP, Open 122cms SHP, Open 133cms, 143cms, 153cms SHP and 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizewinner in the following classes: Cradle Stakes, Open Intermediate classes and Heritage Mountain & Moorland classes will qualify, provided the animal is registered before the date of the Show at which they qualify for the Summer Championships and are ridden by B.S.P.S. Members, except in the case of exhibitors who have never been members before who are allowed 7 days in which to become members and register their ponies, providing they have a valid J.M.B. certificate before the date of the Championship they qualify for.

THE BSPS CLASSIC SECURITY (UK) LTD CHALLENGE.This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge, the highest placed pony in the Leading Rein, First Ridden Lead Rein of Hunter Type, Open Show Pony, Open Show Hunter Pony, Cradle & Nursery Stakes, Open Working Hunter Pony, the Open Intermediate SRT., SH & WH and the Heritage Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden & WHP classes that has not qualified for the BSPS 2011 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the BSPS Challenge, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony.

THE BSPS PREMIER LEAGUE This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League the 1st, 2nd,  3rd & 4th placed ponies in the following Open classes that are NOT qualifiers for the R.I.H.S. or the H.O.Y.S. at BSPS Affiliated shows:- Cradle & Nursery Stakes, Novice WHP, Heritage WHP and Intermediate SHT & Intermediate SRT. The final will be held at the BSPS Summer Championships Show.

BSPS BEST BLACK COUNTRY SADDLES RIDER OF THE YEARThe Best Rider in Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden, Open128cms, 138cms & 148cms. Show Ponies, Open Lead Rein Hunter Type, Open 122cms, 133cms, 143cms & 153cms. Show Hunter Ponies, Open Cradle & Nursery Stakes, Open 133cms, 143cms, & 153cms WHP, Open Heritage Lead Rein & First Ridden Classes. Open Heritage Ridden & WHP Classes and to the best rider 25th years and under, in the Heritage Ridden & WHP classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer Championship Show.

THE B.S.P.S CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONSThis Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Champion of Champions, the Champion Mini Show Pony, Champion Mini WHP, Champion Open Show Pony, Champion WHP, Champion SHP, Champion Mini Heritage, Champion Open Heritage Ridden & Champion Heritage WHP will qualify. 

THIS SHOW IS A QUALIFIER FOR PONIES (U.K.) 2011 National Summer Championship Show to be held from the 10th– 13thAugust 2011 at the NEWARK & NOTTS SHOWGROUND.This show is a qualifier for the Premier Championships, to be held at the Ponies (UK) Summer Championships 10th – 13th Aug 2011.

PONIES (UK) SUMMER SHOWING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd horses/ponies in each class will qualify for the 2011 Ponies (UK) National Summer Championships. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are NOT current members of P (UK) are allowed 14 DAYS in which to become members and register their horse/pony in order for the qualification to remain valid. The exception being any competitor qualifying at a show between 1st July & 31st July their membership must be submitted within 48 hours after the qualifying event in order to remain valid. No qualification cards will be awarded in the show ring. Results will be confirmed by the show secretary and sent into the Ponies (UK) Office.

EQUIFEST SHOWING SHOW
This Show is affiliated to the Equifest Showing Show, taking place at the East of England Showground on 18th – 21st Aug 2011. The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the Equifest Showing Show to be held at the East of England Showground on 18th – 21st Aug 2011. Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring to successful exhibitors.



CONDITIONS

1. All riders to wear BSI standard hats whilst mounted (EN1384, (USA) ASTMF1163 or PAS 015).

2. All persons entering this show in any capacity do so entirely at their own risk and the organisers will not hold themselves responsible under any circumstances for loss, damage or injury to any animal, person, vehicle or property whilst on or in the vicinity of the showground.

3. Once an entry is made there will be no refund of entry fee.

4. In all classes the decision of the Judge is final.

5. Only tack which is permissible in the ring may be used on the showground.
